Hitman + VGA Cable = Computer says no

So what's the bottom line here, if you are using a VGA cable with your 360 to connect to a PC monitor, will Hitman tell you to go **** yourself? (i.e. is the game simply not playable through the VGA cable?). I ask this because of all this **** I've heard about people having to unplug their VGA setup to play the new Hitman on their standard T.V.s because of some 'flaw' regarding a 60Hz issue.

you have to connect 360 to standard tv, set to 60, then reconnect your vga, and your away.

I have the same problem with my Samsung LCD. When I press the info button on the tv remote it says 60hz !! And the Xbox won't play the Hitman game.

I sold my component cable and I just have a VGA one. Any way of fixing this ?

I have it running through the VGA and PC monitor combo grand. Could be a monitor issue rather than a VGA cable issue perhaps?

Just get a loan of a cable man, not point in buying one for the sake of changing a few settings.

Nope, the game won't play unless the Xbox is set to PAL60 and you can only change this using a SD cable.

Since I got the update yesterday, my screen settings are saying 60hz, and my tv says 60hz. When i try to play Hitman I still get a message saying change to 60hz !!!.

Does this game support the VGA cable ?, i think that might be the issue.

I've played the demo with a vga, dunno if there's a difference, but just lettin u know in case it helps...

What frequency does it say in video properties on the Xbox ?
