**have this posted in HTPC also**

I have a media pc in the living room -built with an Antec Overture 2

I have S3 enabled and working but over the last two weeks the power supply has been making a constant low pitch noise when in S3 standby.

anyone seen this before - should I take the ps back to Elara where I got it.

Can this be a sign of it failing - don't want to to set the house on fire !!!

    thx

Probably a sign of the fan being a little off kilter in it. It happens even with good brands. You could either replace the fan in the psu or get a new one. I use a BeQuiet one which barely hums.
