All my Astra 2D channels seem to have gone. In fact anything with an SR rate of 22000 seems to have gone as well, as the transponder on Eurobird 1 with Fizz and the Horror Channel is also gone too. Getting a "no signal" message. Other channels with different SR setting (27500 etc.) such as Sky News seem fine. System is a fixed one pointing at Astra 28.2E. Consists of a Strong 4012 FTA box with a Chess Yellowhead LNB. Box or LNB problem?

Is it only 28e thats affected ?

How about channels with SR's other than 22000 or 27500 ?

Did a rescan. Same problem persisted. Then simply plugged it out and in again at the mains. Problem gone! Everything back. Would be interesting to know why it happened in the first place though.

Happy for you, maybe by plugging it out of the mains and then plugging it in again was like rebooting and since your receiver is like a computer and rebooting seems to solve lots of PC problems.

    Well just a thought.

Yes, that could be it. Other settings also changed. The TV type setting reverted to 4:3, and the video output changed from RGB to composite video.
