    I am looking to form a band in galway city for playing and recording original material. Influences incude all good rock bands from past and present. Most importantly we need a singer with good voice and good stage presence.

    Age group desired: 20-24
    People who constantly look at their instruments when playing need not apple
    McFLy wannabies need NOT apply

    Stage presence and something that is visually exciting = very imporant
    Ambition = very important

    Howya, are ye looking for a guitarist by any chance? I reckon i could be pretty good on stage (i.e. energetic while not acting like i'm playing for 80,000 people).

    I dunno if you haven't been on the boards in awhile or what but if your looking for an energetic guitar player let me know, I often find myself doing visualy exciting stuff even when i'm playing alone in my room (windmills etc.) which is why i think on stage i could be pretty good

    Thats pretty cool dude. Sorry for not getting back to ya sooner. I play lead guitar myself but have no problems with taking on another guitarist if yer still interested.

    Yeah i'd defineatly be interested, I can do a bit of singing aswell but i couldn't lead a band (wouldn't have the range).
    Also I know a singer from these boards from Galway, who is looking to join a band

    Thats very cool dude, we'll meet up very soon. Is the singer you're talking about in the proper age group and stuff?! I'm headin to Dublin tomorrow for GNR concert but will be back next week to diiscuss things.

    Heya, just wonderin if dat vocalist position is taken, im lookin to join a band and also play guitar, have been in bands for the last 8 years so i have a lotta experience. Im a born performer and im on such a high when i get up on stage. well tlk to ya l8r man
