eBay accounts are free, take 5 minutes to sign up to and are worth their virtual weight in precious metals...go get one before they're all gone!

Have you tried applying for one? They are quite easy to get or at least they were last time I applied. Ask someone to co-sign one with you, your parents or something.

Just get a 3v card, check out www.3v.ie for your nearest shop. It should work fine for registering.

yet you only wanted to ask a seller a question?

you don't need a credit card to do that.

i've had a credit card since i was 18 they aren't that hard to get, and no it isn't daddy's or mommy's it's my own.

Yes all I wanted was someone to ask the seller to send me an e-mail. You have to be a member to ask the seller a question which I cant because im not a member!

I honestly find that hard to believe to be honest but then again I dont know anything much about them!

Could I get a card earning my big €117 a week

Just ask someone to co-sign one with you, or go in and ask someone from BOI, they were throwing them out at one stage.

Them bastards wont even give me laser card (all I wanted it for was to play poker at the time) so i doubt they would give me a credit card.

Sose whats "Present your 3V Prepaid Voucher Card to a participating retailer. Request a 3V Voucher for the amount you require. Pay the required amount plus the €5 surcharge. You can buy 3V Vouchers for amounts from €20 to €350, in increments of €10. 3V retailers are listed on the Where to Buy section of this site".

Whats a Participating retailer? the link wont open coming up HTTP 404 not found! Which seems to happen alot on my computer.

Ya only need a credit card to register with eBay if ya wanna sell something.
But yeah 3V sounds like your best option.

I noticed my local Spar had a sign for 3V cards, I assume they are selling them.

AFAIK, you have to order one free from their website, and when it arrives, you can then goto in participating retail outlets, and get it topped up.

Yes its true ,why would i lie about something so trivial?.Once money was being paid into my account every week the Bank had no problem with issueing me a credit card.In fact friends of mine that were attending college that didnt have a pot to piss in also had credit cards. Here is another one for ya,i had to sign on for a number of months and during this time the bank renewed my credit card and incresed my limit 200%.Why dont you just ring about and find out, its not that hard.
There is no way you have to be earning 40000 euro just to get a CC unless its some type of premium card.

Well i was thinking mastercard stuff like that but the truth is I dont know alot about them so I guess you are telling the truth!

If your friends haven't a pot to piss in I wonder who are the bigger fools the banks or your friends?

Im the kinda guy that doesn't like to get in debt! Would prefer the card the guys were on about or a laser card at least I know what I have and know what I dont have.

Im not been smart know your trying to help and im grateful.

Anyways from what I hear BOI are robbing fcukers. But then again that's just what I hear like I said dont know anything much about them.

"renewed my credit card and incresed my limit 200%"
That's just stupid! But if your managing ok fare play.

"Once money was being paid into my account every week the Bank had no problem with issueing me a credit card"

Like I said I have no money been put into my account well I do but not like wages if you know what I mean, make my money other ways ;o) so I have good credit with them with savings.

When I went in about a laser card they said I need about €1500 a month going into my account couldn't believe it

If you want to play poker online, you can buy online money through Ukash.com :) I'm not sure how many poker sites take it, but we do anyway:)

I think there's some confusion here regarding credit cards and registering on eBay.

You don't need a credit card to register an account on eBay if you're registering with a paid or work email address. However, there are some paid/work email addresses that are recognised as anonymous and you'll still have to enter credit card details to register. It's free to register, the credit card details are only used for verificaiton purposes and it's all done on a very secure online form. An example of a paid email address would be an eircom.net one while examples of anonymous email addresses would be Hotmail or Yahoo. Also, eBay.ie only accepts Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

To register a seller's account, you'll need a credit card (Visa or MasterCard again) and a bank account.
