Alarm problems

    I have just installed an Aritech CS235 System in my house with a SABB Bell box. When I try to activate the alarm I keep getting an External Tamper message on the keypad display and the Strobe on the Bell Box keeps flashing....I have wired the box the following way.....

    Board Box

    Ext Tamp Ext Tamp
    Hold Off Hold Off
    Int Bell - Strobe -
    Int Bell + Strobe +
    Ext Bell - Ext Bell -
    Ext Bell + Ext Bell +

    The tamper in the bell box is through a resistor which is connected to two terminals and the Ext Tamp is connected through the left terminal.

    Can anyone give me any advice on to what I am doing wrong. The strobe is flashing constantly and I cant arm the system as the error message is coming up on the keypad the whole time.......
