Abandoned Power Station - Poolbeg

Beside the current ESB power station down in Poolbeg is the, largely intact, original "Pidgeon House" generating station. It's pretty amazing inside and you can't help but take pictures of everything:

Conditions were far from perfect so there are a few blurry pictures and others messed up by the flash.

Note: It is a dangerous place and I would strongly recommend against going in there alone. There are holes and sheer drops throughout the building, along with other unknown hazards.

jesus h ......, the fun id hav shooting in there. i love photographing rundown crap. well, just all crap in the general sense. looks well dodgy though....would call for fairy feet

Cool! It looks like a level of Half-Life 2, I can almost hear the walkie-talkies of the guards!

So how did you get in there? Is it freely accessible? By the state of the place I doubt it.
