    Hello Galway Folk,
I am bringing a Portuguese friend to Galway tomorrow.
He wants to move to Galway to work in the tourism industry.
I don't know Galway very well, (I like the bits I know!) so I need advice on where to bring him, what to show him etc... He would be looking to live and work centrally.
We also want to have a nice day! (I need the break!)
We don’t drink, so a pub guide is not what I am looking for. We will be in town for the day.

    Any suggestions gratefully accepted! :)

Hey Ragazza, I'd say (predictably) Eyre Square and the Spanish Arch. Eyre Square is great these days, loads of people, nice atmosphere, a great place just to sit and do nothing! The Spanish Srch is cool too, it's beside the river too so that can be nice, if you like rivers...yeh!
