I recently bought a new v-bar and the threads on my beiter rods are all too long. Will a few spacers on each rod sort that out? I'd have to have about 3 or 4 on each though is that ok or can you have too many spacers?

Just tighten them up as much as you can. They should hold and there is no need for the spacers.
My Beiter Siderods are the same but they never give me any problems.

What Noel said is grand but it'll give the things a bit of extra support if you fill the gaps with washers& it'll do no harm either way
