The cheapest I've seen todate is Delta

Theres a thread in the bargain alerts forum but you'd want to snap this up quick I'd say

Aer Lingus, Delta and Continential both serve the Dublin - NYC market (the first two to JFK and the second to Newark Airport). All of them offer reasonably good value fares if booked early and are worth investigating.

When we were planning our honeymoon to NYC, the cheapest way to get there was via London with BA. Most Irish agents have what's known as "consolidator fares". They tend to be cheaper than the published fares & are worth checking out.

We went with AA (with an EI codeshare) as they were €60pp cheaper at the time than Aer Lingus - even though it was the same flight... AA were having a sale that week.

Try American Holidays, Ebookers, Trailfinders & Club Travel, as well as checking directly yourself

The best thing I found to do is to take some time out and look at all the airlines.

If you are flexible with the dates, even better...you can really get a bargain.

Sometimes going through London can be cheaper...

Last time i went, flew into Philadelphia and then got a flight to NYC. Saved about 300 on a direct flight.

Ringing the airlines is an option too. They will go through some options with you.

www.expedia.com - take a look at the flight options there. You CANNOT book on the site unless you have a US registered Visa card, but you can find cheaper options and then go book them direct with the airline.

Try using www.sidestep.com - nearly always finds the cheapest fares by searching through loads of websites.
