Was in Sandown on Tuesday night and was speaking to Clive Cox. He's a very mild mannered guy and not one for shouting about the prospect of his horses without good reason. He told us that Surwaki should go very close this evening in Yarmouth. Currently 4/1 in Paddy Powers so worth a punt. The favourite (Cross The Line) has been beaten with the favourites tag on 3 occasions.

In an aside, a very good friend of mine has a share in Silly Dancer who ran in Leopardstown last night. In the parade ring, Johnny Murtagh told them that he'd be chasing number 4 home. Armed with the relevant info, the boys headed for the bookies and promptly did an exacta on Number 4 and Number 7 - result: 1. Number 4; 2. Number 7. Return, 127.8/1. €50 returned €6,390. There's nothing sweeter than a big payout from a p1ssed off bookie!! :D

Pretty big gamble on a horse called tilt in the 8.25 Sandown tonight. Opened up at 8's this morning and has now been backed down to 7/4. Bit late in the day now to get on board .Would have been nice each way bet as its a 16 runner handicap race.
Have also had a text urging me to back Harry Husyan in the 8.30 at Punchestown tonight. Same fella gave me The Jockser at 10-1 a few weeks back. He's as big as 14-1 in some places. Pigheads gonna part with some of his hard earned wages for this horse.

Ya win some ya lose some.
The price went out to 6-1 on paddy power just before the start.

Finnpark, speaking in 3rd party mode, would like to thank Pighead for the tip. Finnpark says it was a good tip and Finnpark was on it at 14/1 EW so Finnpark is very happy.

    :)
