Deep Freeze and USB drives

    We use deep freeze on our pc's at work and a strange thing has happened with the last two images i have made where when I install it USB drives are no longer displayed in My Computer.

    I have assigned drive letters to the usb drives and still no joy, tried it frozen/unfrozen. The only solution to it is to uninstall deep freeze which isnt really an option.

    I have made past images before and there was no issues with deep freeze ( except one where i reinstalled windows (XP Pro)) but there where no issues with the preceeding 2 images.

    I use pretty much the same formula in creating the images and i cannot put my finger on whats causing it.

    The usb subsystem is working fine and the icon shows up next to the taskbar.

    Any ideas?

    ps. Images = bit for bit compressed copies of the hard drives for distribution.

    pss. We use all the same hardware on all our pc's
