My point is people assumed that from e3 old peter was playing with his words in regards to if gta4 would have exclusive content over the ps3 version. This video interview actually confirms that the "exclusive rockstar content" is in fact gta4, and not dlc for the table tennis game, as some people may lead you to believe.

It is interesting though. By the time GTA4 comes out I'll probably have both consoles, so it'll be a tough choice if they both have unique selling points. Live could get exclusive DLC, the PS3 might come with extras on the Blu Ray disc or will likely utilise the motion sensing controller for some parts of the game. No doubt Sony will be trying to get DLC of their own too, Rockstar must be loving this situation.

you hit upon a point someone from rockstar made on a forum (i'm desperately trying to remember which forum). he didn't quite say it, but he definitely hinted that the content on xbl isn't so much exclusive, as necessary, because the game wont fit on a DVD, so they have extra bits and pieces for download.

and this isn't the first company to say such a thing, as pandemic have come out and said mercenaries2 simply wont fit on a DVD... but instead of doing downloadable content, it seems they're gonna go ps3 exclusive instead.

Told us what exactly? that games wont fit on dvds? I dont think it's such an issue tbh, If a developer wants to make the most cash, they will release their games on all viable platforms, I honestly dont think having to have a dual dvd game on the 360 would put many developers off tbh.

Is it that the actual content is going to be exclusive, or is it that with the Xbox 360 version the content won’t fit on a DVD so will be exclusively downloadable? (Ie content that would fit on say another portable medium)

As in, exclusive content, that is not available on none- xbox 360 versions of the game.

Hmm, never replied to this - did he not say 'exclusively downloadable', rather then exclusive content? (ie it'll fit on one blu-ray disk?)
