    Hello all,
I just finished a degree in Finance from DCU last Sat. I havnt worked in over a year and I was just wondering how many references would i need. I have a reference from my past employer, but should I need another one?
Also is there any other good websites except for nixers.com, for jobs. I dont specifically want an office job just yet, but would be interested in jobs like bar work, labouring etc.

    Cheers for your help

Well when I finished college I used one of my college lectures, the one who supervisied my thesis and also my last employee which I had'nt worked for in over a year. Also try fas.ie or your local newspaper for bar-work.
    Hope this helps

Yep. Use Employee reference + Project Supervisor reference.

Employers actually don't care as much about reference as you may think. For graduates they know you have no experience so what the are looking for is -

    Enthusiasm
    Energy
Willing to learn and follow orders

I'm biased, but check out -

http://www.staff.ie (lots of different types of jobs - very few agencies.)
http://www.dole.ie (nearly every job from all the major jobsites.)
