    Yes, yes I am :D

No Glastonbury and we've been meaning to do Roskilde for ages so seemed like a perfect time. Wonder what the weather's gonna be like?

    Also, as per this thread:

"when are you headin over, were hoping to get there for tuesday evening but according to the roskilde website forums we'll only get space for a tent miles away for the festival at that stage :(

Apparently Sunday when the gates open is the best time to arrive, thats 5 days before the festival even starts  "

    Bugger that,
Getting a flight over at 11 on tuesday morning, wont be too bad!

Talked to a guy who arrived on the Wednesday and he says its not too bad so think we'll be ok with the Tuesday. Camping west so theres the proper road to walk on as well so makes it easier to get to and fro. Also dont camp near hedges or bushes or the likes. Apparently the danes have no qualms with hedge pissing en massé.

Lineup is stellar as usual... only problem for me would be getting over there. Either expensive or inconvinient.

Seven day campsite would be a laugh alright, say you'd be knackered after the whole thing.

I got a direct flight to Copenhagen for €170, not bad at all for a 6 day holiday!

Hmmm... proper funding is in order. :)

At some point in the future I'll make a trip to Roskilde.

I booked my flights to Copenhagen last november and they were only €120 which isnt too bad at all.

Just back from Roskilde, absolutely wrecked now but it was well worth it. So many crazy stories and the music was pretty good. Sigur Ros were unreal

Im in bits and SAS lost our luggage but was a good festival. Could do with arriving earlier next year and being better prepared for it I think.

My mates lost there luggage aswell on the same flight, its wierd cos two us got eveything back grand and two didnt. Arriving on the Sunday is probably what we'll do if we go again. We didnt arrive till Tuesday night and only got camping in the K camp, twas around a 15min walk to the festival

Yeh we were stuck in Camp K as well. Saw plenty of Tricolours there too so I think this was a common issue. Some people we talked to said it was not much easier to get camping on the Sunday either. Apparently it was fullish all round within 2hrs of the gates opening.

What a festival! Good times all around, going swiming, chilling etc
Highlights for me were gogo bordella, ba sisoko, Sigur Ros, George clinton and of course Roger Waters. But the most fun i had was the craic with various peeps from sweden, germany, denmark, iceland, aussies, canada, usa and finland. I was also staying in the K camp and found it the best as it didnt stink of wee and 15mins walk is nothing. At glasto last year it could take you an hour to get from one stage to another.
