    GGI is an annual festival rotating between Scotland, Ireland and Groningen in North Holland and celebrating the punk rock links and friendships between the three places.

    now in it's third year following mad weekends in wexford 2004 and groningen 2005 it will be in edinburgh this year. Fri, Sat, Sun, 15,16,17 September

    Bands from Ireland, Groningen, Scotland etc.

    As with all GGI's it's the local organisers who call the shots as to what bands play, like last year i think its going to be a mix of bands they want and are directly inviting and some other bands who have asked to play - if your interested you could probably e mail the organisers so as to send a cd etc. i know this method worked last year for kidd blunt etc.

    campsites are available in edinburgh and lots of cheap flights so put this in your diary- should be a cracker.

    GGI 2007 will be in ireland.
