NTL broadband

    Hi folks if the NTL broadband router is left in a rented apartment what would be the chances it was still anabled?

    Two chances:
    a) Original occupant/landlord never bothered to cancel so it still works
    b) Original occuplant/landlord cancelled so it doesn't work.

    Only way to know is to plug in and see!

    if its still workin i might just take the apartment!
    Free broadband is a good option

    Well check the lease you sign for apt. It might state you're responsible for all utility bills and that would include NTL bill. And if there's a 12 month contract with NTL you'd be stuck paying the bill until the 12 months are up.

    Talk to landlord about it.
