    Hi
Bit of a shot in the dark but here goes:
We are looking for a holiday place, that is warm not too hot, travelling for two weeks in September.
Catering for 4 adults, two babes and one three year old.
    Where would you suggest??
We want warm, peace but with a bit of local life/culture too.
    Any advice/information/ideas more than welcome.

    Thanks in advance.
    Tobi

i would recommend northern france, lots of lovely places to stay around there , warm and not crazy hot. - campsites with haven or one of them crowd are perfect for familes as they have pools, restaurants are are in nice little towns with lots of culture etc. you can rent mobile homes which are top class. talk to a travel agent about it. you can bring the car or fly.

I was in Gran Canaria last year in september. The temperature was brilliant and not too hot. I was in Playa Da Ingles though which is not what your looking for. But there are tourist spots near it that are alot quieter. Anywhere realy in the Canary Islands would have the temperature your looking for all you have to do is find a resort that meets your needs

villamoura in portugal is very nice, weather wouldnt be too hot then, lots of places to eat, not too expensive, lovely marina to sit in the evenings. market in Quarteria on wednesday-good craic. clean beaches. overall great place. Panorama are agents to check out prices through, might be pricey though*? depends what you're looking for.

    happy travels :)

    Hi everyone
Thanks a mill for all suggestions, I think we have found somewhere suitable in Portugal...seems to suit everyone..which makes me kinda suspicious but we shall see.
Never thought of France at all but now the seed has been sown so would def like that for next year or whenever we can go again.
    Thanks all again.
