    Hi,
We just got clearwire and im connected fine thru my dlink router using my cat5 cable BUT i cannot get online using wireless.
I ran the dlink setup and it said it found everything fine with my clearwire router and said i should be able to go online but no luck wirelessly.
    Any hints?
I went with dynamic IP and didnt copy mac or anything in the dlink setup.
    Please help?
    thanks

    More details please:

Can you detect a wireless signal?
Does your PC say it is connected?
Do you get an ip address assigned by router (192.168.x.x)?
Can you ping router ip address?
    Can you ping www.google.ie?

Start with that and we'll take it from there!

Can you clarify what the problem is? You say "im connected fine thru my dlink router using my cat5" and " ran the dlink setup and it said it found everything fine with my clearwire router and said i should be able to go online". You should be able to go online, or you are able to go online? Using the Cat5 cable, are you able to access the internet? If you are, then the issue is simply a matter of getting a wireless connection between the laptop and the router, and clearwire is (probably) irrelevant to your problem.

Have you gone through the Wireless setup on the DLink? Can your laptop see the SSID that you created on the DLink?
