Maybe the OP is just looking for places to avoid during the evenings when out for a stroll?

A ban would be a bit strong. Maybe smashey meant for thread to merely be closed.

Actually i cant see any reason to ban this one.

I used to be a student in letterkenny and partook in the joys of outdoor alcohol consumption.

I will be watching this one closely.

My understanding of the term 'knacker drinking spots' would seem to be at odds with everybody else. I apologise, it was a heat of the moment thing.

The Park would be the obvious place, when I lived up there, there was no park, we didn't really do it, but we harldy ever got the weather anyway...

    Self promotion?

Down with this sort of behaviour.

I'm just replying to the question posed by nanook!

If he meant for us to recommend someone, then I'd probably say... uhm...

Actually, probably yourself! Otherwise, bettlebrox (if he/she's the time) or maybe Civilian_Target.

it was a rhetorical question, trust me you don't want the job.

Muffler will be the first to retire, and i am nowhere near it.

regarding the topic, in my days in letterkenny hi shir, we used to go at the back of the bus station and there was many fields around Meadowbank and Slieve Sneacht (pardon the spelling). I would honestly say that all of those are long gone and replaced by estates at this stage.

As a mod you should because it's an illegal act in this country.

Anyone have the number for Liveline?

"Well Joe, yeah, that's right, it's a website, uh-huh, and they're discussing the best places for teens to drink in public, the children Joe, the children, won't anyone think of the children!!!"

Seriously regarding discussion and promotion of illegal activity, boards' official line is down with that sort of thing.

    Careful now!
