Things to do in Lanzarote.

    Myself and the gf are going on a holiday for a week next week, just spur of the moment type thing. Anyone been there, and recommend decent things to see/do. Cheers.

    I would definitely recommend a trip to see Timanfaya National Park. Lunar-like landscape is stunning. You can go on an organised trip or hire a car like we did. Easy to get to by car and means your not hanging around for others and can take in some other sites on the way. El Golfo (IIRC) is a lagoon with almost luminous green water....

    You can also take a 20 minute ferry trip from Playa Blanca to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura.

    Also boat trips to Los Lobos Island and the usual glass bottom boats and stuff.

    Depending on where you are staying, there is a water park on the island.
