    Company Benefits Include:
Competitive Base Salary, Bonus Plan, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Paid Lunches, Free Local Health Club Membership

I'd do it just for the lunch

I'd say if that 401k was a salary offer rather than a pension type thing they would have no problem filling their jobs. Never mind the lunches!!!!

Spotted this job on irish jobs and googled it

    http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=%22Database+Developer+-+DB03%22&meta=

and it showed a company called Tiltware had one with the exact same name and if you look at their site the exact same job spec is on there so its safe to say they are moving here.

    http://www.tiltware.com/careers.php?employ=10

They are behind "Full Tilt Poker" DB02 and DB01 jobs are also advertised on irishjobs

Yes, tiltware LLC are moving their head office to Dublin and they need a (mostly) brand new staff - not many of their existing staff in the US are moving. They're a separate comany to Full Tilt technically speaking, but they are essentially the one body. They're mainly filling higher level positions at the moment I think, but expect to see them looking for a lot more IT and other staff once they get up and running.

I bet it was just a knee-jerk thing to add to a job posting. Then again, they might be interested in hiring Americans -- I sure hope so since I applied for one of their marketing jobs *laugh* -- so it might be of importance to potential hires.

401K is some kind of American tax thing afaik. It doubt it applies to Irish.

In case these 401k posts are aimed at me, I should probably have clarified in my last post that I knew they were an American pension thing (and not just stated pension thing)

The 401K isn't being offered over here. They have a couple of vacancies in the states advertised on their site. They only have the Irish vacancies advertised through agencies over here.

The reason if you must know is in case somebody has subscribed to either thread then i would be likely to get a response quickly

wtf is the point of you being a tool? I sometimes wonder about the likes of you with nothing better to do but to browse sites like this passing needless comments

He certainly will, he certainly won't get the job if the interviewers/panel find out that hes an over-aggressive/defensive idiot afterall.
