A1 Computers on Johnstown Road off the N11 do laptop repair. One of the guys there, Eoin, is a whiz. Depends on what it is though- power but not booting, probably the hard disk which if the machine is worth it and you have your original CD's can be replaced and everything reinstalled. No power at all, I'd say fried mainboard or fried power adapter, but that means your hard disk is probably okay. Starting price is €65- they do what they can with that and if it looks like it'll be more they'll call you first and let you know what's what so you can decide yourself how you want to proceed.
