    I knew tar was an arts student!Nobody doing subjects such as physics could ever be able to spend so much time on boards and not fail the year!

    You underestimate the gammy mother****er clause that I use.

    Oh and physics is piss easy, what a bad example.
    Wonder what the lecturer looked like ;_;

    What's the point in doing Maths/Physics etc. through Irish - or indeed any particular language (including english)? It's all maths - truely universal.
    If you didn't do physics/chemistry/maths/applied maths in LC, why on earth did you plum for it in college?

    i did chem and biology, and maths for the lc..
    never physics..
    irish is my first language. so i didn a clue of anythin through english when i started uni..
    this year was ok though cos the maths seemed easy in eng and the tuts were really heplful and bio was in english cos they dont offer them in irish...

    next year all my subjects will be in eng though..

    Wel, it's a bit late now but the fast revision books are what you needed.
    Obviously me saying it is easy is a point of view, I got 98 and loved it through school.
    One of my friends started it in college like you , without having done it before, did it through Irish and got a first class honours, so it's possible. :)
    IMO, its very easy and I showed two of my brothers who were hmm, terrible, how to do it, so it can be taught.
    Anyway, you don't do it for second year. What type of engineering do you do?

    I didn't mean "why'd you do physics through Irish?", it was clear from your post that it is your first language, I meant "why do physics in college without having studied LC Physics?". It wasn't clear from your post that you had studied LC Chem & Bio.

    Fair play for sticking with it, not the easiest thing to 'pickup' (kinda), even with LC Chem & Bio. I should've made that clearer in my post smile.gif

    {edit}
    OT:Anyways, green stuff. Why the hell post about it now? Did you crack a keg in The Last Half-Hour and only sobre up now?

    pffft - fresher lightweights
