    Plug it in using a SD connection then change it in the dashboard.

    SD = standard definition.

    Basically mate, stick your 360 into your tv with the scart connection and the 360 will auto detect the new connection type. The options for your display settings will now magically feature a 50hz/60hz mode. :)

    the cable at the back of your 360 ( going into your tv ) has a switch on the side of it for your tv type ( hd or sd ).

    if it is set to hd you will not see the option to change from 50hz to 60 hz in the 360's video settings.

    to see the option to change video settings from 50hz to 60 hz set the switch to sd and then go into the video settings on the 360 and set it to 60hz , then flick the switch back to hd ( if connected to a hd tv ) .

    once you change it to 60hz you don't have to change it again.

    When I read "resolution" I took it that warzonebrother was using a vga cable?

    Your prob is whatever way you connect your tv it's not showing the 50/60hz options. If you have a switch on the lead at the back of your 360, flick it and trying changing the display settings. If that doesn't work (like your screen goes blank or something), try connecting your 360 to the tv by another way (using other cables you have at your disposal) and check the display options again.

    Just use the composite lead on the component cable to plug it into the TV.

    There is also a software switch. Switch on the 360 with no game inside so that ti goes to the dashboard. Go to system settings. In there somewhere is the optio to swtich to PAL60.

    had to do this for DOA4 and Oblivion.
