Advice on Laptop for my needs?

I need a new laptop, purpose of which is primarlily for showing web designs to customers etc. I will be doing most of the designing on the desktops in the office but I need a laptop too. I will need to install PHP on the laptop and Apache server etc. Software I will install on it will be MySQL, Office, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Studio, Eclipse, and the JDK. I also want it to look good!

Don't need it for games, though maybe I will mess around with Age of Empires or the likes I suppose in my spare time. Wouldn't mind being able to watch DVDs on it too.

Anyone recomend a laptop that would suit my needs? I don't want to spend any more than I have to. Ideally I would only like to spend about €1,000 give or take €100 or so.

I have seen some Comaq ones in that price range.

I am thinking I need about 1 gig ram, 60 Gig hard drive or more, 1mb cache, 1.7ghz processor or more. Any advice?
