Anyone remember lolo balls? Can you still get them?
for thos that dont know, they were an oval shaped ball with a plastic disk in th middle (looked like a small planet)
you put your feet on either side of it and bounced away. They were all the go when i was in 5th and sixth class in 90/91.

Why are there so many fat kids around today?...because we don't have lo-lo balls anymore :D;)

My neighbour had one and likewise when the plastic bit broke it became a football :D Had a tendency to bounce off in strange directions but that just made the game all the more interesting :)

mine was green and black but it wasn't an official Lolo ball, it was a knock off. When the ball eventually fell out it looked like a luminous pear ;)

Lo Lo Balls where great but fabcat is nearly right. There was a version called a fun hopper, they were a cheaper version that where done by supervalu.

Not sure of the year but on a school sports day my school had a lo lo ball section, I came 3rd, i could skip while bouncing!

They were great exercise and i know a few fat kids that could do with them today! (myself included)

Then perhaps wearing some sort of "pair of shoes" at the time would have been appropriate...

    :p

I know if you google fun hopper you get the space hopper but supervalu did have aversion of the lo lo ball under this name.
