Swimming would be great for it.

You'd want to sort out your diet (which you say you have already) as well, thats the only way to see proper and lasting results.

Regular exercise and a good diet. Post on the fitness forums with your diet/routine and someone will give you much more detailed advice.

Excercise will not do it. You cant spot reduce fat. It has to be done with Excercise and the right diet.

Cut down on the sugar and start eating healthy. You will go mad for the first few days off the sugar, might get some headaches. Substitute sweeties with some fruit.

You DO NOT spot reduce fat.

In order to lose body fat from one area it must be lost from all.
However it is possible to change the appearance of a part of the body by losing or gaining muscle.

Ask over in the fitness forum.

used to be a competative swimer myself and its a great way to get into shape. sounds like your on the right track by modifying your diet so in time you should be ok, just remember this could take months! theres no quick fix (beyond surgical:D ) but it'll be worth it in the end for the health benefits alone (particularly the heart) and you'll find you'll feel alot better as well.
just remember it comes down to the old energy in versus energy out equation. so as long as its balanced you'll do ok

That or he editted it after making a mistake the first time...

ps: yeah... i also need to reduce gut. Though my bum is just fine. Too much popcorn & nachos is my problem... And being unable to force myself to exercise regularly. Intend to fix all that this summer though *slips on his running pants*.
