    Can anyone recommend any good software that would teach me how to play some bass Guitar, I'm a beginner and would appreciate anything.
    Reason for software is I'm on a PC all day and can flick in and out of it to learn.

    Yeah Guitar Pro is the way to go. If your computer is high spec then you can use its "RSE" function (Realistic Sound Engine) to make the tabs sound almost life like. Brilliant program for the odd jam when noone is about.
