12 Port USB Hubs ?

    Is there a such thing as a USB Hub bigger than 7 ports...

    I am ideally looking for a 12 Port but cant find anything on the net

    I've never seen one anyway and it would probably be pushing the limits of the power a single USB port can provide.

    Could you use two 7-port hubs into two USB ports? It might be possible to cascade the two but again that would probably be stretching the limits of the source port on the PC.

    I have 3 x 4 port hubs and would like to consolidate them into one big hub.. the 2 x 7 port hubs sound as an option

    anything up to 254 ports should be theoretically possible,you can daisy chain multiple hubs AFAIK, provided they are not passively powered by the computer
