    rant

So i'm trying to RMA my LCD monitor.
Got an RMA number from BenQ and a poorly worded email to the effect that i should package my LCD up just so, then wait for a courier service to contact me to collect it.
    That was 2 weeks ago.
I've been emailing the BenQ fella that i havent' heard from anybody and he just tells me he's contacted the RepairCentre...
After a few emails he gives me their number:
    0870 855 3167
So i wonder what country that number is, but he never responds to me again.
I've contacted BenQ again and after being on hold for 30 minutes i get the same muppet i spoke with at the start.
Maybe there's only 1 person working at BenQ RMA i dunno.
He's upset with me for ringing and tells me sternly that it is NOT a Netherlands number. Says it's a UK number, hurray.
But nobody answers that phone number.
2 weeks if a fairly long time to wait for a courier service to contact me don't you think?

    that's a uk number.

take off the 0 at the start and add 0044: like so: 0044 870 855 3167

Just ring them and give whoever you're speaking to an earfull.

sorry, just read the last bit of the thread... who did you buy it off of? sned it back to them.

I bought the monitor from Komplett.
I tried to RMA it to them and they refused.
"We regretfully have to decline your RMA request.
    Message from Customer Care:

This is actually one of the handful of manufacturers who handle
their returns and warranty claims directly,
independent of us. This is usually a good thing for the customer,
as they are usually pretty efficient.
Please see here for more details: http://www.komplett.ie/k/k.asp?action=custserv&topic=retur-benq
    Hope this helps.
    Approved products:
    1,00 PCS 316639 BenQ 19" LCD FP93GX Monitor, DVI,
    2ms, Black/Silver"

I bought the monitor almost 2 months ago.
    Is this legal of Komplett?
Also, BenQ still hasn't contacted me about collecting the monitor, sure i'd be willng to post it over to them but i guess they do a courier service.
I dialed that number for the repair centre and just let it ring and ring.
Eventually it clicked over to a busy signal.
I paid like, 400€ for this monitor WTF.
    What are my options?
    Get a solicitor?

    Post your situation up here

Mabye Komplett might revise their policy on letting Ben-Q handle your Rma after what has happened.
