I'm not too sure of the legality of this so if there's a problem I apologise, but what's the best way to get clips from youtube to a DVD so it's watchable in a DVD player?

    Any feedback appreciated:)

    Google just threw up:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/

The homepage then says you can use SUPER to convert to avi (or other formats). After that you're on your own :p

Yea I use VideoDownloader too. Works a treat. For youtube it will save it as a flv file . I then use Riva to convert to avi or mpg. So easy a monkey can do it.

www.keepvid.com also lets you download YouTUBE FLV files!

Thanks for the help. So Super will do the job, the other program is only a trial :(

    Is super better than virtualdub?

Riva is free. It's the encoder u want, not the producer program.

as ppl have suggested, use riva to encode to mpeg then use any of the leading DVD creation progs to convert to DVD.

you could also try this freeware prog for mpeg - > dvd, she is DVDBuilder
