Anybody hear back anything about those temporary clerical officer positions which were advertised on the Revenue.ie website last april ?

Did they have any interviews or are they going to ?

A friend of mine started in the Buncrana office last week for a three month contract. No interview just a phone call asking when could she start.

another friend of mine had an interview today for a two month contract in Letterkenny. She was told she would know in 10 days time.

yeah does anybody know a hr number to ring for revenue? i tried to ring the main office here in galway where i had applied for but no one answered which i thought was very strange! just irritating to not ever have been contacted back by them even to let you know you weren't offered a position!

I applied online, interview about 2 weeks ago and start in two weeks. That's in Cork and I only have the Cork HR number.

Wasn't there a number once you did the online thing to ring if you had any queries? Or am I hallucinating? It's been so long now!

Did you receive any letters or anything before you got the interview? I remember applying to revenue and I didn't receive a thing. At least I got a rejection letter from the CSO, bless 'em.

I got a phone call asking me to go for the interview about a week beforehand, then a letter confirming the interview, then after the interview a letter & email confirming I had the job.

Actually the CSO rang me yesterday too to see if I wanted to start with them (I was number bazillion on the panel of successful applicants) at which point I told the lady that the Revenue had snapped me up. She laughed and congratulated me!
