Hi all, I have a problem with my fuel gauge on a 98 Blackbird and wonder if anyone has a solution. Even with the tank full, guage reads less than three-quarters and when you're driving, it continually drops to empty, few seconds later back up etc. Any ideas??

    Whats a "fuel gauge" ???

Are you sure its a motorbike ? ;)

Check the tank float , the first place I would check.

Have checked the float, seems ok. I think it may be an electrical fault. just have to make sure that the tank is always full!!

I seem to remember something about a relay getting dirty or corroded, and cleaning it solves the problem (at least temporarily), but I'm damned if I can find a link to the solution. Sorry.
