Anyone ever had this beer before?

It was four tins for a fiver in the local supermarket today so I thought, why not?

Seems to be a Belgian beer, but is it worth drinking or is it best left to dole out to unsuspecting houseguests?

had it in Ghent its one of their main lagers, along the lines of stella maybe a bit less taste. grand sufff at that price , they sell it in a pub in cork as use branded glass an fill from a frosted tap etc to give a bit of justification to 5.50 a pint. 4 FOR 5 is more like it

This stuff needs to be poured into a wet glass and rise a decent head on it for it to taste nice. If you just pour it gently into a dry glass it tastes only slightly worse than drinking straight from the bottle or bad Harp. I used to buy this years ago in the supermarket if I missed the corner shop for my crates of Hoegarden and Stella. Quite drinkable if treated well.

Discovered this in the local Centra (4 for a fiver), I'm not a connoisseur by any means, but I thought it was great value for the quality, you don't often get a bad Belgian beer.......................:D

    P.S. Good buzz after 3 or 4....................:D:D:D
