whats id really like to know, on a simple level, could i buy one of these and slot it in instead of my sky plus box? What channels would i receive just using the sky dish? i have a pc and broadband as well for any additional config required

Without difficulty, any channels that work for viewing on the Sky+ WITHOUT a card.

No Interactive
No Extended Program guide for scheduling.
