No1 doesnt related to us but from then on its pretty much spot on.

I think our equivalent is definately Eircom!

I had Softram installed on my 486 back in the day. I remember it caused all sorts of programs to crash and my 2x CD-ROM didn't work properly with it either.

#15 I'd argue about. The original product was great when it came out.
The problem only occured when they outsourced the manufacture.

    Yeah, I rememeber that.

Back in the late 90s early 2000s I only had dial up, and installed Real Jukebox. I noticed that whenever I tried to play a CD or w/e with it, it would insist on trying to connect to the Internet and would go into a frenzy if I didn't allow a dial up.

    Real Player sucks.

Everything I've heard about Windows ME was terrible. I think I read one review that called it "Windows 98 in a party dress." Needless to say I stuck with Windows 98 FE until I changed my rig.

Real player did indeed suck, and its funny that it was the one lawsuit that stuck in Europe given how terrible it is. It was also almost impossible to figure out how to download the free version and not the pro version. Me was apparantly awful, but I never had problems with it, had more problems with Win2k due to driver support (before any of the service packs) and went straight to XP from Me. Microsoft just cut their losses with Me and released it as it was (~300 known bugs on release, when usually they only release at 0), as the article mentions, it does actually have some decent contributions to XP, just terribly implemented.

I can't believe my Casio Datalink watch made that list. It was ultra cool.

Good old M.E. HAHAHAHA.... I did find one use for it at the time, well apart from a frizbe. It picked up an old scsi controler that win2k didnt have drivers for.

And what looney came up with:

    24. DigiScents iSmell (2001)
    Few products literally stink
