Not a tip as such, just some thoughts:

    1000 Guineas

I think this one is fairly open, and will be dutching Queen Cleopatra and Race for the stars. In my mind, the biggest threat to my dutch will be Confidental Lady who appears handy on most types of ground. I’m not sure it is a worthy favourite though. Getting back to my selections, both come from the O’Brien yard, which is enjoying a decent success rate. Course winner, Race for the stars has won on both good-soft and good ground, although it must be said that it’s last time out was disappointing. The booking of Fallon is a good sign that O‘Brien has confidence in it, perhaps more than he has in his other horses. Queen Cleopatra has a very good record and is handy on soft ground. While the jockey booking of JA Heffernan does not stand out, this horse looks a decent sort and has won over similar distance before.

At current betfair prices, the dutch is paying about 9/2 which is good value in my opinion.

    Newmarket, last two races today.

Karl Burke has Surely Truly and Inaminute going.

He is in red hot form with 6 winners since Thursday, with 12/1 and 16/1 winners yesterday so defo worth an each way punt with these two IMO.

Hurricane Run has clearly got better. Last year he was a horse that had to be held up for a late challenge cause he idled in front. Today he had to go on and stuck to his task pretty well. He'll win all around him this year.

With regards to the 1000 Gunieas, my money will be on Short Dance. I'll be very surprised if she's beaten to be honest.

I don't think Race for the stars will handle the ground and Confidential Lady may be slightly flattered by her finish in the English Guineas. Short Dance has improved a lot since Nasheej beat her and should win here.

Haven't a notion what happened there but the winner of a Cork maiden hacks up. Haha. Delighted for Dermot Weld's mother who was there to cheer on the horse she owns and breeds. I think they had a sneaky suspicion for this one...

Don't think many would have backed her though

One out of two aint bad eh? Especially when it wins at 16/1 !

He has a few more runners tomorrow, including Moody Tunes and Imperialistic. Keep an eye on him, hes sh1t hot at the moment, 7 winners from last 9 runners, show me another trainer with that type of form at the moment ;)
