I've been trying to connect my 360 up to one of those Xtravision HDTVs. What cables go where though?

I think I've done exactly what it says in the booklet but it still isn't working.

Does the tv have a component input?

    It has:

    DVI/Sub input terminal
    Component 2 Audio input terminal
    Component 2 Video input terminal
    Component 1 Audio input terminal
    Component 1 Video input terminal
    CVBS output terminal
    Full Scart input terminal
    Antenna input

There the important inputs I think. I have one set of three wires with blue, red and green ends. The other has yellow, white and red but it says not to connect the yellow.

In that case, where do the other five go?

The component cable has two sets of three cables

    VIDEO
Using the componet cable connect the red, green, blue set to the red, green, blue component inputs on your tv...

    AUDIO
Connect the red and white of the red, white and yellow set to the red and white audio inputs on your tv...

leave the yellow unconnected to anything

also on the switch on the cable at the xbox end make sure its set to HDTV

    This should do it...
