Likelihood of being reimbursed by Paypal?

I was scammed out of €100 by someone on boards a couple of days ago. They never sent the goods. I have information about their location etc. and instead of even approaching them for it, I know that paypal refund the cheated party and issue legal proceedings against the fraudster. Am I likely to succeed in such a claim with Paypal?

Another user, woody was also duped by this thief and has instigated a similar claim. Like I said, we have sufficient info to pursue this outside paypal but what are the chances of a straightforward refund does anyone know?

i went through that process for a 60 euro pice of electronics i bought that never arrived.
basic paypal covers your 15£ back.
if theres money in there account you get that too.

the lad i bought off just closed his account and that was that
i got 15£ instad of 40£

You have 45 days from the day of the transaction so you better not wait around.

Unfortunately if they've done this a lot chances are they'll have emptied their Paypal account by now.
