DCU - nursing degree

    hi,
    anyone with info on the Nursing degree at DCU i'd really appreciate. basically just wondering about amount of lecture,tutorial (if they are are mandatory??)
    hours in the first & second years. trying to organise a part-time job etc and the office staff are being a bit vague!

    Going into 3rd yr next year . Good to see sme boards peeps doin the course :) , Ye there will be mandatory Classes. The Clinical skills workshops, as in first Aid/Manual Handling, infection control , Not sure what days they'll be on for you but it generally takes a full Morning away so you wont be finished till 12 . But theres generally only 1 or 2 a week for the first semester in first year.

    Lectures will not be mandatory , tutorials arent either. The Communications workshop in 2nds semester is like the clinical skills workshops in 1st semester. Also when i did the communication workshops you got part of the % of the exam for attending.
