I amn't a regular viewer of this show. I do watch it every now and then.

I was watching the last episode of the 4 season on RTE TWO.

RTE TWO show double episodes every friday night at about 2am.

So I was hoping to see the first episode of the 5 season as well.

In the final episode Clarke ends up on some mountain after he get the 3 stones together and the spaceship lands in Smallville.

In the first episode of the next season, Clarke has no powers and the Chloe is heading off to college. And some guy is about to launch a nuclear bomb on smallville, the photographer of the school newspaper.

No actually RTE ****ed it up an put the second last episode of season 4 on after the last episode of season 4. well done.

    Yes, i noticed that too.
They showed the season finale for season 4 then in the next episode skipped to either episode 2 or 3 of season 5.
I expect nothing less from RTE.

Not a regular watcher either but I did catch the RTE double bill last Friday (as in a week ago from yesterday). First episode seemed to have nothing to do with the second.. very confusing as the second episode seemed to be the end (or maybe just part of) a story arc.

The show always seemed a little too Dawson's Creek for me anyway.

The episode with the nuclear bomb on Smallville is Episode 3 of Season 5 - "Hidden".

Did they even buy in full seasons or just individual episodes?

Anyways, waste of money if thats the time they're putting it on at.
