Building outside boiler house

I am looking for any suggestions for building an outside boiler house. We are installing UFH/Geothermal heating and putting the pump/insulated hot water tank in an outside boiler house, approx 20-30 ft from house.
After looking at costs, we are going to make it bigger than needed (16' x 8'), and defer the garage. Builder reckons approx €10K for shed, but also suggested a strange alternative - a wooden garden shed on a concrete slab!
Is this a realistic option, or does anyone have any other creative suggestions.

You may have to consider having a secondary return system fitted for you domestic hot water circuit , otherwise you will have to let the taps run a long time before the hot water comes through. The hot water cylinder would be better in the house to prevent this.
a wooden garden shed on a concrete slab!

A cheaper option, l presume it would be OK if it was well insulated.
