New Radio channels added in Waterford

I have just noticed that we have had a number of new radio channels added to our digital packs down here. I suppose it just to bring us in line with Dublin's line up. The only problem is none of them actually work down here.

The new channels are as follows

930 FM104
931 98FM
932 NEWSTALK 106
933 COUNTRY MIX
934 SPIN 1038

Whats the point in putting them on our EPG if they are not going to broadcast them for us?

they now appeared and working in Galway, as is 927 (Radio Caroline )

They are working here too now, except half the radio channels are actualy off air for the last couple of days cos NTL are bunch of wasters.

couldn,t disagree mike and i think we are way over due new channels at this stage wheres eurosport ,all the itv channells, media reports promised these over two years ago!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Mike.

I've just checked my FM channels (I have my HiFi plugged into the wall socket) and they're all on air. Is it digital ones you're talking about?

Ah ffs, they have now just removed all the above extra radio stations. They were here up to yesterday. Our Channel number has dropped back from 184 back to 178 here in Waterford

Intersting, the bbc fivelive was on-air then off-air then reappeared in the last few hours. They've been tinkering again.

Well surprise surprise, they are back on again down here in Waterford. We are again back up to 184 channels. Looks like Mike was spot on about them doing some tweaking about with the radio channels today

I somtimes think the software is so badly programmed it simply switches channels on and off at random.

You may actually have a point here Mike. Just now I was here listening to 2fm on channel 902 and it just stopped broadcasting. Scan through a couple more radio channels and they are also blank. So the next step is Help and Yellow button trick to do a reset and low and behold we are gone back to the 178 number of channels yet again.

This is really starting to get very annoying.
