    go to http://192.168.1.1, enter user/passwd,

    click NAT under Advanced Setup,

    SUA Only -> Edit Details

    enter the ports you want and direct them to the ip address of the computer (to find that out, in Windows, type "ipconfig" in a command prompt, generally it could look something like 192.168.1.33 )

    click Save

    Das it

    when you say user/password do you mean your log in name when you signed up and used the service for the first time?

    no, the username/password details for the router itself.

    Should be admin/1234.

    thankss for the info rocky, i did that and opened porst 6881 to 6999, and for a while it did speed up. however it's slowed down again, and i never managed to get rid of the yellow face in azureus. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    possible things to check:

    - make sure you still have the same ip address - it can change sometimes

    - i hear some bb providers are throttling often-used ports, try changing the default ones

    - depends on the torrent health, it can be slow, if the seeders/peers are low

    - try limiting your upload speed to 50-70% of max (I can do this with bitcomet, not sure about azureus)
