Trains in Austria

Anyone been on an Austrian train before? What are they like? We're heading over soon and we'll be travelling from one side to the other. It'll take a while so wanna be comfortable. Was thinking of getting first class tickets (€25 dearer) but is it worth the extra? Like with Iarnroid Eireann, the difference is that first class seats are green while standard seats are blue!

    Thanks :)

There's very little difference. 1st class will just have less people there. If you get on the train a little early (assuming you are getting on at the 1st station) you'll get whatever seats you want. If you are not getting on at the first station paying a little extra and reserving your seats might be a good idea. You'll still get seats though but just maybe not together.
