It's going beyond a joke at this stage.

    The Circus needs you!

    Play drums? Good.
    Play them adequately well? Great!

    Here's the story:
We had a drummer up until August of last year, which in this business, is a long time ago. He moved to England. Tried a couple of drummers but weren't suitable due to age and marriage and over-exuberance, etc. We've had a friend who's learning the drums jam with us for the last three months.

    Here's our MySpace:
    http://www.myspace.com/theoriginalcircus
These songs were recorded roughly in the shed in April 2005 and our songs are getting better and better.

    Here's our plan:
We have an album's worth of great songs ready to record and once we get you involved we can produce an EP sharpish.Until our drummer emigrated we had been gigging regularly in Eamonn Dorans, The Hub, Voodoo longe etc.
We are dying to get back out there.

    Here's where you come in:
Email at thecircusmusic@gmail.com to see how we can organise a jam.
We would like you to be a solid, steady, mellow kind of drummer who knows how to react to music instinctively. We've got some rehearsal space with a drumkit so no worries there.

    Come join the Circus.
    We like you.
