whats does everyone listen to? is there any particular shows, eg the strawberry alarm clock, from around the world that are very good?

usually i listen to live365.com and they have lists of various different genre's. mainly i go for the 80's stuff.

does anyone regularly listen to certain shows OR is there any stations, english speaking, that may be worth a listen?

Jonathon Ross, Chris Evans on BBC R2 or Andrew Collins on BBC 6 Music.
With the right software you can rip the shows and listen on your MP3 player.
    Quality!!!

There are loads of stations within ITunes worth browsing through and as you find stations elsewhere you can add them to itunes.

www.npr.org offers and extraordinary range of stuff both live and also from previious programmes on the site.

i dont really like the strawberry alarm clock. i do like some segments but overall i think its wearing thin fast. i think Gavin is funny. i think kids in the car is boring at this stage.

i was using it as an example.

Well, living in the UK so I mostly listen to NewsTalk or Today FM at work (can't listen to RTE because restrictions mean I can't install software and RealPlayer isn't installed!:().

I also listen to http://radio.oneword.co.uk:8000/ as they sometimes have good shows, they are playing a 30 minute section of a Harlan Coben novel each day at the moment :)

I miss (some) Irish Radio to be honest so mostly listen to Irish stations when I'm in my house despite the fact that BBC is pretty good.

    Hi

Might I pimp Phantom FM! We are broadcasting 24/7 online (windows mediaplayer required) and will be available in Dublin on FM in August. The web stream is currently back-to-back music and we also have podcasts available featuring interviews and music from local bands.

Virgin Radio, can be recieved on 1215MW, but sound quality is rubbish.

    Sounds better online: http://player.virginradio.co.uk/core/player2/index.html?service=vr#

Plays good rock music, with little to no modern pop nonsense.
