Headset for Skype phone

    Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help here, I've installed Skype & an Olympia DualPhone for a disabled friend but she's having difficulty holding the phone to her ear due to her disability, I've noticed on the phone there's a socket for a headset but can't find any to fit it, does anyone know where I can get:

A headset that will fit one of those phones
    or
an adapter to put on to a headset, so that it'll fit the phone

She doesn't want to use a usb headset because she wants the freedom of moving around with the phone.

Thanks in advance, & apologies Mods if this is the wrong place to post.

    Jasper

I hope this may be of some use. But this is the type you want for that phone. They do deliver anywhere in Europe so its cheap and handy, or if not you may be able to find a similar version online @ Komplett or Dabs which will happily deliver.

    Slightly off topic.

I use a headset all the time as I don't have a phone, the disadvantage is that you don't hear the phone ringing unless you have the headset on or are very close by. I'm not sure if this is true when using a phone and headset combination but it's worth checking out beforehand.

As far as i know using the headset will not effect the tone ringer as its only a smaller version of headphones. Also you may have to change a setting in sounds to stop that happening. Are you connecting through usb?

It was a usb headset. However yesterday I went down to my local supermarket and they had reduced the price of Skype IFEBO phones, the orange ones, from €49.90 to €14.00 so I bought one on the spot. I'm going to set it up later.

The price drop was because the date for the free time voucher had expired. The voucher certainly wasn't worth €35, so I think I did well.
