Hi - I'm thinking of investing an a laptop. I want a model with a full keyboard(including a num pad) and wirless lan. It will be used mainly for college (databases, C/Java programming, office) but i also want to be able to play some games (oblivion). I need a CDRW but can live without a DVDRW. My upper budget is about E1300 ex vat. Any advice on makes or models to get or avoid?
    Thanks

if you really want a num pad its gonna be a monster, a luggable more than a portable.

    Prob talking 17inch monitor.

Doubt you would get that for the price you want.

Lose the inbuilt numpad and purchase an external one,

Megadata Mini Keypad with Calculator & Hub

    USB Keypad with retractable cable
    Also includes calculator and
    2 extra USB ports

    Euro 20.00 inc VAT
